History
Lagosse Chocolate is a family company and an active producer of chocolate products for bakery‘s, retail, department stores, wholesale, catering industry, tourism, promo and relationship gifts.
Set up in 1991 as a chocolate workshop by Leo van der Maale Lagosse was a producer of a luxury range of handmade chocolates for confectioners and luxury department stores.
Soon after the start, the range was further expanded to include a production department of decorations and gift items made of chocolate. Innovative and consumer-oriented thinking eventually resulted in a new concept of printed chocolates being added to the range in 2003. This was the start of a new trend, namely personalised chocolate. From 2004, Lagosse Chocolade started to specialise more and more in this area in order to appeal to new target groups. Since 2015, Lagosse has broken new ground with the production of Neapolitans for the hospitality and tourism industry. In addition, son-in-law Rudy Haringhuizen has come on board and is working hard to ensure the continuity of the company. Lagosse now has a state-of-the-art chocolate factory and has become a leading producer of chocolate letters, logo pralines, many forms of printed chocolate and Neapolitans. Lagosse also has state-of-the-art equipment and is therefore able to respond to the latest trends with a perfect product every time.
